After "your application is under consideration"

Does anyone know what you can expect after your status has changed to "your application is under consideration" for SLS?

Will you be notified that you have been accepted--or perhaps rejected--for SLS by mail, email, or website? Which comes first?

I'd keep watching your online application. So far I haven't seen anyone here report of being accepted yet this year. Last year my son only found out by checking online - he never received any kind of letter, email, or call. The only time he got anything from them was when we submitted the actual payment and I remember we got a confirmation - pretty sure by letter.

I remember that the update did come through the website first. One day it was under review the next it was approved so I would continue to check that!
