So the other day the Senators office called and told me that the interviews were coming up soon (November 23rd) and that they were calling to tell me my time slot. I told him that I was appointed to the United States Air Force Academy. I guess he told me that they saw that I was offered an appointment by West Point (Don't know how he knew that) but didn't see anything on Air Force. I told him that I officially accepted the appointment by sending back the paperwork in the BFE saying that I officially accept. So he cancelled my interviewing slot. Was that a bad idea on my part? Does the Academy ever switch nomination sources? Or should I have went to the Nomination Interview anyway? Did me telling him hurt me in any way? Sorry if I sound a bit dramatic.

If you've been nominated and appointed, they can't take that away from you (unless you do something really stupid). So you don't need to worry - you've already been appointed.
