Hello again,

I have a question about majors. I want to choose a marketable major, but I also would like it to be something I enjoy. I'm really into the science/engineering/mathematics field. Here are my current majors (in order of preference):

Nuclear Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Physics
Aeronautical Engineering

What do you all think of those majors. Are some more marketable than others? Which are toughest?
Thanks again!

Mech and EE have the widest employment base.

Nuclear engineers tend to have a fairly constant demand, IIRC.
I read somewhere that a lot of current aero engineers are going to be hitting retirement age in the near future.

In the end, most of them will probably have decent career options (although I don't know about those with undergrad physics degress ).

Any form of engineering will be marketable, but like Raimus says, EE and MechE will be huge. But I'd say go for something that you're interested in and will enjoy. After all, making money isn't the important thing in life: It's having fun doing it.

I think I might do Pre-Law, if that's available in my class (I cadet told me they remove it from time to time for some reason), besides Engineering or Physics.
