If they still do it the way they did it 3 yrs ago, you will find it going down on Thursday to update the status of apptmts.
Boards meet on Monday, apptmt letters are compiled on Wed., candidates get the BFE over the weekend or Monday.
You can refresh that button every hour on the hour, but they have a pat system.
My best suggestion is to look and see a commonality on the dates of the letters for the apptmts already given. If they are all still written on Wed., than stop torturing yourself with a daily check in, and wait until Thurs or Fri., for the change.
My other suggestion is to repeat this MANTRA:
75% of all AFA apptmts occur in MARCH.
Being Snoopy over the mailbox only does one thing...create frustration and fear!
Accepting that 75% of you are all in the same boat, allows you to accept life and live it for the remaining time you have at home with your friends and family. Trust me come Aug. you will miss them and wish for Mom's Chicken casserole and hanging with your friends on Sat night playing Xbox Halo until 2 in the morning.
Don't rush your life and wish it away for that envelope. That envelope will come fat or thin soon enough; you can't rewind the clock when the envelope arrives ~ ask your folks about their biggest regrets, I think they will agree TIME ranks the highest.
Get that apptmt and fear does not or will not end, now it becomes OMG what if I get injured playing LAX or OMG what if I can't make it through BCT.
You need to BELIEVE in yourself and that this is the path you were destined to walk!
