Cadet Clubs?

I was reading through some more information about the Academy and I stumbled on the Cadet Clubs. I was wondering how exactly these clubs worked especially the sports oriented ones like the Triathlon, Marathon clubs?

Do they train everyday? Are all cadets open to join?

It depends on the club. Some are more informal and will accept anyone. Others have tryouts and only accept a few people per year. Some practice whenever, and others have strict practice schedules.

My son is involved in a variety of clubs, and Raimius is right, some practice EVERY DAY, some are much more informal. Some go to competitions, some enjoy the company of others of similar interests at USAFA.
