Another milestone...tonight the Firsties pick their posts! I'm excited to find out where my son will be going after IOBC.

Just got the call - he picked Ft. Campbell, 101st Airborne, 4th Brigade Combat Team!! I could hear in his voice how happy and excited he was. I think it is starting to sink in that he will be graduating in 15 weeks. :thumb:

Mine will be going to Germany -- I see lots of visits coming up! :thumb:

Congrats on Germany! I think part of the reason he choose the 101st was its history (DS is military history major/history geek). He said there was one Hawaii slot left when he picked so he waivered a little. Good thing I wasn't there, I would have been whispering in his ear to pick Hawaii. *sigh*
