Son just sent pics of his butter-bars. So proud, but life is moving way too fast.

I bet DS sees it differently.
You did a great job raising him into the fine young man he has become. Best wishes to your family and I hope your eyes don't get too "sweaty" on Graduation Day.
But once a person becomes a parent and their child graduates high school/college and start making their own accomplishments and achievements, is when we realize that our children are our TRUE LEGACY. They are what we become proud of as our accomplishment and achievement. Yes, we may have had other significant accomplishments and achievements, but how our children turn out is what matters most.
Mom raised him. I just paid for everything. Naaaa; looking back at his and his sister's accomplishments, I couldn't be prouder or have a higher level of accomplishment. Growing up, we tend to really only think about ourselves, what we accomplish, what we achieve, etc... Thanks for the compliments. Mike....
P.S. And yes, my son feels that he's spent his whole life at the academy. He definitely doesn't think the last 4 years flew by.
And you still have to come to Thudgate!

I've seen that Thudgate has been mentioned quite a few times before... what is it?
