Other ideas are:

ROTC
Military Prep Schools, i.e. NASS
Military Colleges, i.e. Citadel, Norwich, VMI
Maritime Colleges, i.e. SUNY, Maine, Calif,

I guess an inherent question: is the overall forum aimed at those prospective students, parents & alums or those already in the system?

Also - did I miss a profile choice as a parent?

I added the publicly joinable usergroups now:

Cadet
Midshipman
Parent
Alumni

I made you a parent to see if it works.

I added the publicly joinable usergroups now:

Parent
Alumni


Tactical, I cannot join the Midshipmen group...only see the publicaly joinable groups Parent and Prospective. By the way, this site is much much better than CC, very professional and I appreciate everything you have done for us.

I got rid of those groups (should've posted). Now there are groups by service academy, but in order to get into them you must e-mail us (from your academy e-mail) at our contact link and we will manually add you to the group, at which point you'll have access to your respective service academy's forum.

How about Appointee and Candidate groups? As of right now, a few people don't fall into any groups.

Um, how does one join the Cadet group? I know it is around here, but I cannot remember where.
