Thought COS a better choice for booking a summer flight, but turns out getting to DIA might be easier--at least more cadets are headed to Denver. So much for advanced planning. My son has flight Saturday at 10:30AM. Can't find a ride from upperclassmen and doesn't have a sponsor. Does anyone have other options to suggest or which taxi service is preferred when going to the COS airport?

Here's info I got off the USAFA Class of 2015:parents FB page. There's a wealth of info there. Consider joining if you haven't already. You might find someone on it who is going that day as well. During the school year USAFA Cadet Services has the most convenient bus service, and is the only one we've used so far.

Allendac Limousine (Lawrence) – Phone: 719-393-0013. Takes credit card over phone and drives cadets to airport. Can pick up cadets at Arnold Hall and take them to COS or DEN airports. See cost options below.
USAFA to COS = $45 plus tip (can have multiple riders –3– that split that cost).

Colorado Springs Shuttle - www.coloradoshuttle.com – Phone: 1-877-587-3456 - 719-687-3456. Travels to/from COS to DEN (Shuttle drops off at Academy Hotel). Office hours 5:30am to 8:30pm / 7 days week. $50.00 one way and offer a discount for 2 or more people and military. Cadets can call a Yellow taxi at 719-777-7777 to get from the Academy hotel to the AFA- about $20.00.
