USNA Class 2013

My son received a call from his congressman's office on Thursday, January 29, 2009 saying that he was accepted into the Naval Academy. I have never heard my son so happy! He was told that his appointment packet would be mailed on Thursday, February 5, 2009. Still anxiously waiting for that packet. It should arrive this week. Anyone else who's son or daughter entering USNA Class 2013?

While not "mine," As a Blue and Gold Officer I've worked with two that have accepted their appointments to the USNA class of 2013 and two others who have offers of appointment that I expect will accept also.

I'm still working on one for NAPS and another is that is still hoping for USNA class of 2013

just wondering, i also got a call from my moc yesterday, i missed the call so she left a message but when do you think the packet will come in? she never said when it would be mailed.

My son received his official USNA Appointment packet today on Friday, February 13th for Class 2013!!!!

Did most of those who received appointments so far previously receive an LOA or have the general appointments started to trickle out? I have a USAFA appointment, but I had an LOA for Air Force. Haven't heard anything from Annapolis yet......

My son did have an LoA to USNA.

Of the four offers of appointment I know specifically, two had LOAs previously.

I, too, had a LOA prior to receiving the Appointment- delivered Feb 15.

My son did not have an LOA and received his appointment in the mail on February 14.
