Ss - usafa & uscga 2009 - 2010??

My son attended both Summer Seminar programs in 2009. He thought both sessions were fabulous. I would urge anyone thinking about these sessions to not forget about the USCGA. I know my son came back from USCGA with a new found respect for their program. He was always planning on USAFA but now he cannot rule out USCGA. If he's given the opportunity-?, I know this decision will not be an easy one.

He's got and LOA to USAFA and he's waiting to hear from USCGA before Christmas.

I've heard from a lot of people that AIM at the USCGA is a top notch summer program. I'm applying when I am able, but I think that it is highly competitive.

Oh to be 17 again. If I was 17 now, I'd give the Coast Guard serious consideration in addition to USAFA
