Dodmerb update for Jan. scholarship

Has anyone who received and accepted an offer of an AROTC scholarship from the Jan. board have their status update on Dodmerb?

My son's still says status "in process". I know that CC has to load it to the dodmerb system but I'm curious to see if anyone shows that it's been offered or extended.
 
mine changed to qualified just yesterday. my exams were both on 2/24. so I would think you'll see a change soon.
 
Not the medical status as we've had Qualified as he's that since early Feb. due to an SA application but the Admission Status.

Does yours still say "in process"?
 
Mine still says in process as well. I was also awarded during January board.

I do know that CC has to update with DoDMERB so maybe they will be doing it this week now that they've had the chance to go through all of the paperwork that everyone sent back or didn't send back.
 
Oh alright, I overlooked that. Mine still says in process as well.
 
Has anyone's admission status changed yet from the January board?
My son's still says "in process". It will be nice to see the offer extended or offer accepted on there.
 
My son received a letter from dodmerb stating he was qualified (he received a scholarship offer from the Jan 26th board). He was worried about his vision but is feeling very blessed that all has worked out well.

Congrats! It's a great feeling to get that qualified letter.
 
My status changed to "accepted the scholarship" about a week and half ago and medical status changed to "qualified" also about a week and half ago.

Your status on dodmerb, not the scholarship site, changed to scholarship accepted?
 
USMC ROTC just showed up on the dodmerb website for me. I had never seen it there before... I'm a bit confused. Help!

I'm thinking that is EXCELLENT news for you :thumb:

It said the same after my son was offered MC NROTC scholarship a few weeks ago.
 
If I was an applicant, parent, advocate, etc., I would watch the DoDMERB website for my medcial status and watch the website of the program to which I was applying for my Admissions status. That is the best way to monitor progress.:thumb:
 
Larry: Good advice, however the reality is that applicant status changes are often reflected sooner on the DoDMERB site than the admissions sites.:thumb:
 
I'll put it a different way....Application Status on the DoDMERB website is NOT always reliable. It is NOT a status that DoDMERB inputs to. I look forward to post the Admissions websites for all Academies this next week where you can obtain your Admissions Status.

For 4 year ROTC applicants of all Services, the applicant name does NOT appear unless they've been offered a scholarship. Applicants KNOW when they ACCEPT the scholarship offer and that changes. The "status on the website" does NOT change immediately and I won't bore you with why.

For campus based applicants of all Services, your Bn/Det Commander and staff is the one that controls the award process.

In summary, do NOT rely on the Application Status that appears on the DoDMERB website. It is NOT a DoDMERB controlled data field.:thumb:
