I was recently DQ'd from my dodmerb examination due to a previous back injury. Even though the problem doesn't bother me anymore, my waiver was denied as well. I was told I could not continue with ROTC and was pulled from my LTC slot for the summer. The surgeon based his decision on an MRI from a few years ago that showed a herniated disc in my back. My question is could I get a new MRI that doesn't show the problem anymore? And if it did show a problem could I get surgery to correct it? Are there any other ways I could join the military? If anyone could help that would be great.
