Hey Everyone,

Just two questions:

1- When should I expect to receive my flight information for June 23rd? I chose the government ticket, and need to register for the bed and breakfast program as soon as possible once I receive that info.

2- When are 4th class cadets allowed to have their iPods? Personally, listening to my ipod to myself while doing homework is a very focusing thing. Just wondering if it is once the academic year starts, after recognition, or if it varies by quadron.

Thank you!

Are doolies allowed to get on websites like pandora or YouTube for music? I'm with thederek on the concentrating thing

No.

(Realistically, there is no good way to enforce that. If the upperclassmen should catch you doing that, expect some consequences.)

cell phone, yes - after Acceptance day? Music players... doubtful, but hard to enforce.

This may sound like a wierd question. Can we still use our ipod if we don't don't listen to music? I do use my ipod to listen to music but I also listen to audiobooks of stuff I am reading in class such as plato republic, 1984, the bluest eye, etc. I can live without either. However, it really helps me when I am reading books. It keeps me focused so I don't get sidetracked. This allows me to finish books much faster. It also helps with my reading comprehension. I don't do other things while listening to it I follow along in the book. Is this aloud or not?

4*'s are allowed to have iPhones and other media phones. Technically you should not have any music or movies on the phone. However, should you choose to not follow the rule, the upperclassmen cannot search your phone.

You would probably be fine if the audiobooks were ones that you were reading in class and you did not have any extra music/media on it. I brought my iPod touch back in January to use as a Spanish/English dictionary. I removed all the media and applications from the iPod except the dictionary app.

Are you at least allowed to dump all of your media and apps onto your laptop before you reformat it with just acceptable items?

Like you said with the dictionary, I prefer using a little device over a huge book.
