How long until I find out?

Yesterday I had my eye exam and today I have the physical/audio part. I'm just wondering how long does it normally take for DoDMERB to receive the forms, and from there, how long until I get word if I'm qualified or have to go through a remedial process?

In essence, as long as it takes. Each case is different. The providers will send the forms back to Concorde. Watch their website to see CLOSED at the bottom of the page. Given this time of the year look for something approx 15 days or less after that date. Email (in my signtaure block) me your posting and full name and last 4 SSN and I can assist U better from there:thumb:

I checked their site and it says that Concorde received the forms from the eye doctor pretty much as I was walking out the door based on the time (gotta love fax )

My appointment today is at 10:30 (EST), so hopefully they'll get that in just as fast.

I'll email you if I have any other questions/concerns. Thanks for your help.

Alrighty then, the wait begins.

Everything went well, so the only thing that might pop up is eyesight. With contacts/glasses it's no problem, but I don't know anything about "diopters."

I know it can't be +/-8, but I have no idea what that really means.

Good. Again...Email (in my signtaure block) me your posting and full name and last 4 SSN and I can assist U better from there:thumb:

Just curious, when you say log in are you referring to the dodmets site? We scheduled the appts. and had them completed Tuesday. If the dodmets still says complete appointment, does that mean Concorde has not received the paperwork yet? Thanks

Craig

I emailed Concorde yesterday just because I was curious if most providers fax or mail and they said this:
Our policy is that they are mailed 48 hours after the exam. Some facilities will fax it after but it is not required. All exams should be in Concorde’s possession within 7 to 10 business days from the exam date.

The dodmets site will be updated before DoDMERB since they get it first, so that's what I've been checking.

Correct. Again, if there are questions send me an email with your posting, full name, and last 4.:thumb:

Concorde received my medical results a couple of hours ago, so now they have everything.

Under Current Status it reads Complete-hold
What does the "hold" part mean?

Didn't want to send another email until April 10th when you wanted me to resend the other one, but you got it :thumb:

I also thought the definition for that could be public, so I figured I'd post asking about it.

If that's what you want to do
