For those of you who were recently appointed did you get a phone call or just a BFE in the mail?

Surprise, Surprise. The BFE just arrived in the mail. No call or warning. It was a very, very, very welcome surprise.:shake:

Just the BFE, no call. (The day after a TWE from West Point.)

My son rec'd a phone call from MOC, and finally received BFE 13 days later.

Just the BFE, although my status may have changed earlier I wasn't able to check because we were out of town.

I probably sound stupid, or look stupid anyway, but what's an MOC

I remember my son's ALO calling to hear if TwinA had "heard the news." TwinA said, "What news?" and the ALO said he'd call back in a few days. So we KNEW!

TwinB got the BFE (had a different ALO).

Son had the status online change to "Appointment Offered". 3 days later, BFE. That night at the high school football game we told the ALO. So there's lots of different possibilities of how to be contacted.

I had to check online and was shocked when I saw Appointment Offered. Today the BFE came in and was postmarked March 25th since I have mail forwarding (not as big as I thought it would be but still big enough to take up the whole mail slot).
