I am hard at work training for July 1st, and I am pretty confident that I am in great shape to handle plebe summer. Just out of curiosity, I wanted to know if any of the mids can tell us the longest continuous run they did during plebe summer? How long/how fast should we be able to do? I know that the better the endurance we have the easier it will be, and I will not train any less with this information, but I am just curious. Things to occupy my mind until I-Day!!:thumb:

I think it's about 5 miles, but defer to a current mid. They do "work up" to the longer runs.

At the end of plebe summer you will run an outer (aprox. 4 3/4 miles) at your own pace.

We did a 10K (6.2 m), and a 6 mi regimental run during my plebe summer, but sounds like they don't do it anymore.

We did the 10k this past year. We also did a long reg run but I don't remember the distance. Either way, you only have to keep up on reg runs and for the individual runs you should run as fast as you can.

My son did the 6 mile regimental run this past summer.
