The mail has come today and still no contact from USNA. The word is that all candidates will know of their acceptance or decline by April 15th, tomorrow! Is the mail/priority/express how we will find out tomorrow? We live in a remote area and don't want to miss anything! What should we do if nothing comes tomorrow? I assume call B&G and admissions. I would call B&G now but don't want to be a pest. Is anyone in this same painful spot?

UGH!!!!

Call and don't worry about being a pest, after all you are entitled and deserve an answer. Being a pest or not will not change the appointment or rejection outcome.

We are still waiting too! Called admissions on Monday and his application was still pending but counselor could not tell me why. He promised to call back by Tuesday- that was yesterday! No mail yet today - maybe something will be in it when it comes.

Son contacted his BGO earlier this week to ask about status and response was all I can tell you is that you have to be patient. So that is what we are trying to do.

Hang in there - we will all get news soon.

Called Admissions and was told nothing had been mailed to us yet. Left a message with his area admissions coordinator. Thanks for all your responses.

BGO probably won't know until you do -- and maybe later. Your Regional Director at USNA is your best bet. If he/she doesn't tell you . . . I don't know what to say.

Being honest here, if you're not waiting for a medical waiver, the odds are that you're going to get a turndown or waitlist. Not saying you couldn't receive an appointment, but it's very rare at this point. If waiting on a waiver, you're probably looking at an offer of appointment if your medical clears.

I am still waiting on a waiver. If I am one of the ones who is in line for appointment should I be getting something in the mail tomorrow as well, or will my stuff come after the medical issue is resolved?

Answer depends on whether or not you have an LOA and a nom. If that's the case, you will get an appt if medical clears but won't get the paperwork until it does. If you are not in the above category, I would hope that they would tell you whether you had an appt conditional on medical clearing but, honestly, don't know if that is the case.

Son received his letter today and is honored to be wait-listed for NAPS. So our journey continues - we are going to have an exciting summer!!!! He has some great backup schools to decide between - we are so very proud of him and his hard work and determination. We are all very excited.

Prayers for everyone else waiting to hear good news soon.

I have a nom but not a LOA, but I didn't get anything...so good news I hope. I didn't get a TWE

Congrats to your son hsjude! Sounds like he has some great options to choose from!

Not sure what to tell you. You may want to call your RD -- you have a "right" to know your status so you can make decisions re Plan B. I would hope that the fact you haven't received a TWE is good news in that they're waiting for your medical to clear. However, they should still tell you that.
