AROTC Scholarship transfers?

I have a question that maybe someone here knows the answer to. My DD found out late last night that she was not accepted into her 1st choice school (and she had actually already sent her acceptance to CC to that school). So now we're scrambling. Does anyone know if you go for one year at a school on the AROTC scholarship, are you obligated to stay at that school all four years or can you transfer to another school after one year? She'd like to apply again to Choice 1 but doesn't want to lose the scholarship.
This process is so stressful!!

There have been discussions about this-it seems that the best answer has been to talk to the cadre at school dd has been accepted to and is willing to go to and see if they have an opening---then work with CC to change.

I've heard that it is possible to transfer from one program to another but the liklihood of it seems dependent again upon cadre at both schools-soo... good luck with figuring it all out.:smile:
 
Thank you. We're in contact with the LTC at her 1st choice and he's trying to see what he can do. I've asked him if that's a possibility (transferring there next year). If I don't end up with an ulcer before this is all said and done.....:confused:
