NROTC at Penn State info

Just accepted NROTC at Penn State- does anyone know a student who is going there in the fall or is already there?

Welcome and congratulations to Penn State. You are truly going to enjoy it at Happy Valley. Although my son is not in a ROTC program he a physics/astrophysics with a math minor/major. He will be a junior next fall. Tell your parents to make reservations for Parents Weekend in October. It's the weekend of October 1st to October 3rd. It is my understanding Penn State has one of the best NROTC programs in the country. If I can be any help to you in getting your feet wet up there, feel free to let me know. I am from Harrisburg, PA. Just send a PM.

I have a friend up there now. He originally intended to go aviation, but is now trying to go SEAL. He loves the PSU NROTC unit. He has always been under-challenged in the academic arena, so NROTC provides him with several types of challenges he's never had. It is a great unit.
