Hey everyone!
I just logged on to the DoDMERB website and found out that I became Medically qualified for the US Naval Academy. Something is puzzling me however. Right next to the Naval Academy section there is something that says SUBAGENCY: NALOA What does this mean? Thanks in Advanced for all the help!

I know I already posted this under DoDMERB, but I figured another set of people couldnt hurt!

I'm going to close the other thread. Please don't double post threads.

It means you have been accepted. NALOA means Naval Academy Letter Of Assurance. It means an LOA has been sent to you, keep checking your mail. see you in '15

From what I understand DoDMERB stopped posting that information. It also doesn't mean she's in, there are conditions. Such as the fact that she still needs to receive a nomination.

Kp2001 sorry for the double post. I was just looking for answers from he DoDMERB and USNA crowds. BTW I am a male, not a female. And what I'm getting from these people is that I am going to receive a LOA? Is that correct?

I'll have to defer on the LOA info because I really don't know. Wish I did, sorry.

Sorry to be off-topic here... But midn'12 continues to post things and delete them. Unless a mod has been deleting them. Not really sure how that works but most of the comments have been slightly inflammatory.

Mod deleted them. He was blocked.

WISCYELLOWJACKET, Yes a status of NALOA does mean that you should receive an LOA. My son also received this status on DODMERB last year and did receive an LOA. The LOA is contingent upon all other application criteria being met and a nomination. Congratulations and best of luck to you!

Hey Guys!

Thanks for all the Help. I knew that LOA was a letter of Assurance, but I didnt want to assume thats what it was from DoDMERB. I got it in the mail yesterday, and it was dated August 24th!
