May be a dumb question, but what does NHS actually do/suppose to do?
I have been nominated and wondering if it is even worth joining. The reason I have a somewhat negative view is because the chapter at my school really does not do anything beyond have a nice fancy induction and elections for people to plan for the induction for the next year.
All people in the Ib program at my school with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher are nominated (which is almost everyone).
In my very limited perspective, it seems likes I pay 20 dollars as joining fee for an addition EC to put on my application.
There are also Spanish, Art, and Math honor societies at my school (Spanish is the only one that does things).
