NROTC just showed up on my daughter's DoDMERB page--"in process". Has anyone else had ROTC show up? Daughter also submittted apps for AROTC and AFROTC, but those are not on her DoDMERB page yet.

USAFA--qualified
USNA--qualified
USMA--qualified

Just curious!

No, NROTC has not showed up on my DoD account yet. Right now all I'm getting is my 'qualified' status for the SAs. When did she submit her application?
 
Hummmmmmm--I'm pretty sure the app was completed mid May. I know she interviewed end of June because she had to wait until she got back from Girl's State.

Next AROTC board is October 25th--called CC and confirmed.

Unless things have changed in three years, DODMERB status for ROTC does not appear until after the scholarship is offered. That's how it worked for my son in NROTC.
 
:wow: Interesting. . . however nothing has changed on her app status and nothing has arrived in the mail. Just that "in process" wording on the DoDMERB page. I truly wish the creator of all the little icons would create one with hands pulling hair out of head!! That's my emotion righ now.
 
When I received my NROTC scholarship last year it showed up on my DoDMERB page before that scholarship status changed and before I received anything in the mail. So it's looking good for daughter if it's the same as last year :thumb:
 
Same thing happened for my son last year, Dodmerb was first to change, then a letter from Dodmerb saying he was qualified for ROTC, then finally the change (I think it was less than a week) on the scholarship status, followed by letter from NROTC, so, keeping fingers crossed that this means great news is on the way for your daughter!

For our DS who only did AFROTC, his DodMerb changed before the official letter of his scholarship.

One thing you will see is DodMerb will go down for maintenance quite frequently. The way to look at it is watch the released board review dates. Traditionally, if the board met M-F the week before, than the following week they are inputting the result status into the computer system.
 
Anyone else get this? If so, It could be a good indication that the board recently convened.

Did your status change to that recently?

And no, I am an applicant for NROTC and It isn't listed on my DoDMERB page.
 
I just noticed it today but since it was dated as yesterday I am assuming...

sbbond93 = Means the medcial process is over for you. You are medcially qualified. Done:thumb:
 
jdalv2 = Probably because your records ahve NOT gone before the board yet. When you do go before the board, "if" offerred a schaolarship, they will download your information to DoDMERB and we will contact you then:thumb:
