We just received a nomination from one of our Senators, we have complete file, NOW WHAT?

Congratuations!!!
If the application is not yet completed then complete it ASAP! If it is completed including CFA and Dodmberb then keep it updated. Anything new and significant should be sent to admissions.
Schedule a visit with admissions if at all possible.
Then, wait. and wait. and wait some more!

Congratulations...but obvious answer is obvious. Wait and pray for good news!

Congratulations!

I'd just like to add one thing to what has already been mentioned ... contact your MALO to be certain you have everything completed. They should be able to tell you exactly what, if anything, you need to do.

It is never a bad idea to contact your MALO/FFR with questions.

West Point does make it easy for the candidate to know if their file is complete though.
If all the icons on the candidate portal have turned from red to green (which also includes icons for the CFA and nominations) - then all you need is a clear Medical.
The wait then begins.....

A little Off Topic - but I was involved in interviewing 3 candidates today and one of them said that the West Point application was the easiest to navigate with the visuals of the red icon turning to green when that item was complete. :thumb:

thanks for the info

thanks for the info! his application is good to go, we have spoken to all channels, now we wait (and send the mid-term grades up there with 100 averages in all AP courses) 100 average for high school career and 32 ACT in the books. #1 rank in class, governors scholar. (just bragging a little)

It sounds that you are in good shape. However, we do not know about sports, interview, physical fitness test, written papers, teachers recommendations, etc. Any of these things could potentially be trouble. Good luck to you.

Nominations are EXTREMELY important however, MANY people with nominations do not get in. Keep working on your file to try to improve your chances.
