Should DS update his application with his quarterly grades? I know he had to submit the classes he was registered in for his senior year, does the USNA want to see how he is doing?

No. They will request them when necessary. Let the 3Qed dog lie...until he barks.:spacecraft:

Congrats and good luck on the nail-biting nomination. :thumb:

Sorry to disagree with my predecessors in this thread, BUT ... being 3q'd should not a stopping point for a candidate - it does not mean that the candidate is front runner, only that he/she has met or exceeded the qualifying standards. It does NOT carry the status of a LOA! A serious candidate should continue to update packet information until in receipt of either an LOA [assuming the condition(s) do (es) not include academics] or an appointment. Prematurely resting on laurels may be the candidate's undoing. If your DS were one of my candidates he would have received this advice in my initial communication to him.

An 'A' in AP Calculus, Physics, and/or Chemistry, for example would raise one's WPM and could prove vital to an appointment.

Thanks 1964BGO and Mongo - Even tho 3Q'd, DS is still working hard to be competitive (re-taking SAT/ACT tests, etc.), so we will update with any positive news:thumb:
