I am a Canadian citizen but have lived in the U.S. most of my life. I am a senoir in high school and am not able to become a citizen until next school year. I am planing to go to a local community college and study criminal justice and then teh following year transfer to USCGA and study government. Do you think that they will except me? What about the background check? Do you think the immegration and college forst thing will hinder my acceptance?

Once you are a citizen you should feel free to apply. Having gone to college first should not negatively affect your application (unless you do very poorly in your classes).

Just a suggestion, I know this is an informal forum, but your application will be highly scrutinized (just like everyone else's). Check your spelling and grammar completely.......now is a good time to practice.

My advice would be to call up the Academy, and ask for admissions. They would be able to answer a lot of your questions.

Ahhh, that's okay Luigi. We all know you're A+ goods. -officer

Not to mention the AWESOME Luigi countdown updates that kept many of us sane while waiting for the various milestones in the SA process. :thumb:
