Hello all
I have recently submitted my AROTC scholarship application and want to know where I stand.
My GPA is a 3.1 but I've taken a fair amount of AP IB and honors classes
My SAT is 2010 on all 3, and 1390 on math/reading
My ACT is 29, with 36 in reading, 28 in science, 25 in english, and 26 in math
I currently have 3 varsity letters and will recieve my fourth this spring, 2 with Crew and 1 with Football
I am captain of my rowing club, however this is not my schools varsity team(my school only offers it in spring) and I am wondering if it still counts? Also I am the Vice President of my Forensics Club (Public Speaking)
I had 54 pushups in a minute, 71 curlups in a min and a 6:40 mile time on the ROTCPFA
I also have done a good deal of community service and have already been recomended for a scholarship by a PMS
Any input would be greatly appreciated :)
Thank You

Im pretty sure youll do fine. But im not gona lie, your GPA doesn't look too hot. If this is because AP's have weighed you down then youll be fine

his gpa is low, but look at his SAt scores, hes obviously smart. Its probably due to the rigor of his school and courses

I agree with the above, they will like your SAT and reallly like your ACT score.

I think you have a good shot, just not in round 1 where they take all the rocket scientists with ACT thru the roof.

Thanks for the feedback! It makes me feel good to know I stand a good chance and to know what I should be expecting, so the more posts the better.
