Funny story: When the original Coast Guard press release was posted the other cadets would sneak into her Facebook account as a prank and post the link. DD had to delete it half a dozen times. When the Chicago Tribune reporter called me (how did they get my phone number?) for "parent reaction" quotes I had not seen the original press release so I did not know what she was talking about--DD never bothered to tell "The Rents" that the Coast Guard did a press release about her. She's a good kid and we are very proud she chose USCGA over all the other schools that offered her a seat. :thumb:
