So I got a call from my senator (Bayh-IN) and he said i've been appointed. So I guess i'm curious about who i'll be spending the next 4 years with.
 
What state do you live in?! I'm here in Colorado just waiting with an LOA in hand! :/
 
Nope nothing yet! I looked on all of the NOM deadlines and they don't announce until the end of December! It's completely brutal! And thanks I'm really excited about the LOA, congrats to you as well! Maybe we'll be seeing each other!

Congrats! I'll be seeing you there then I guess. I got a letter congratulating me on my appointment from my senator last week! I'm from Georgia.

out of curiosity, what did you guys get for your cfa scores?

How long after you complete your file do they give you a decision? because the congressmen in california havent even started preliminary interviews yet >< so i have no idea what i'm supposed to be sitting around for now
 
Each MOC has until January 31, 2011 to submit their nominations to the Academy. Some interview, some don't. My DS had an interview with his Congressman but not with either Senator. Only a staffer at the MOC's office can tell you when the MOC will finish with their selection process.

As far a what you are supposed to do in the interim, I believe the term you need to become more familiar with is "hurry up and wait".
 
Congrats to all of you guys (or girls)!!! Now for the fun part, waiting to go to the academy. I get to wait two years to apply! Talk about a long wait :yllol: But I get the luxury of making sure I am doing everything I can to make my application look better for when I apply.

Good luck to all. Take it as an early christmas present (or late Chanukah present). :thumb:
 
As for your files though, what did you guys have on it? like GPA, sat, extracurricular wise?
