Even though I used to make almost all A's exclusively, I am currently sitting on 4 B's and 2 A's in yearlong courses. 2 of the B's may be pulled up to a low A by improving in the second semester, but the other 2 will likely remain as B's or high B's. They are all IB/AP courses.
However, 2 of the B's are in AP BC Cal and IB Bio.
My general academic stats: 3.84/ 4.7 GPA, 8/255, my ranking may drop a few spots, but should still be in the top 5 percent.
ACT: comp-31, Math-33, English with writing 30, Science 33, Reading 27
Am I still in a desirable standing to be competitive academically for an appointment despite not getting all A's?
