Does anyone know when we will find out about the potential limited seating issue? We would like to start looking at booking rooms and would like to know how many rooms we will need.

This usually applies when the festivities need to move indoors for weather. Maybe a parent or graduate from when President Bush spoke can answer if there were any additional limits at that graduation. I would seriously doubt President Obama is coming this year, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Bring everyone that you can/want, even if they can't see the actual graduation ceremony that is but one very small part of the entire weekend.

It would be great if the President or VP would attend but the down side is a limited number of invitations. I attended the graduation with President Bush and I think Mids were limited to five guests but am not sure. The only other change was that guests had to be in their seats for some time before the President showed up and, as I recall, had to remain seated until he left - unlike the normal free for all onto the field after the hats go flying.

Even for all the pain, fingers crossed that President Obama comes!
