I am planning to post some of my observations about the technique my DS used to master the basketball throw event on the CFA in the hope that it will help other USMA candidates (as soon as I find the time to do it right). I suppose that I will be posting this on the USMA forum, even though the advice could help future USNA, USAFA, USMMA candidates as well. But then I thought, "Why isn't there a forum where everyone applying to SAs or ROTC can post questions and thoughts about this important area?" It is, after all, one of the three Q's needed to gain admission to a SA. There is already a board dedicated to DoDMERB issues. Why not CFA/PFT?
I suppose the "CFA/PFT" board could evolve to include discussion topics like recommendations for exercise routines, what are the minimum standards for, say, AFROTC scholarships, how much PT should my DS expect if enrolled in NROTC, how much weight does USCGA place on the PFT, or tips on passing particular CFA events, etc. These are all NOT just Service Academy issues. Just a suggestion.
