We were told that there would be no funds available for On Campus Scholarships for Fall 2011. Then we found out this week that 5 of our cadets had been approved for 3 Year Scholarships that take effect Fall 2011. So there is still some money available out there. Keep working hard and you will get rewarded in the end.

How many people applied for the 3-year scholarship? Is that a normal allocation for your school, what were the 2009 and 2008 numbers.

Nice to hear some good news, well done to your cadets.....and their fine professors of course  !!!

Gotta love the cadre working hard for their "troops"! I suspect those additional scholarships at Marist College didn't just fall from the sky. Nice job, Marist College ROTC!!!

We submitted requests for 5 cadets and all 5 were approved. All of our returning cadets from last year and all of our freshmen that attended New Cadet Orientation over the Summer have now been awarded or are already receiving full scholarships.

5 Cadets received On Campus Scholarships over the previous 2 years so this year's quota was a pleasant surprise.

None of our current freshmen received 4 year scholarships through the national board process. The previous year we had 3.

Sounds like last you all did a good job of getting the most out of your freshmen. :thumb:
