Hi, my name is Bria and I took a DODMERB exam for USMA. I received a letter saying that I had a remedial that did not require a medical appointment. I am not sure what I am suppose to do. Can someone help me please? :frown:

Usually these are things that just require you to send in documentation--for example, copies of medical records for a condition/treatment you had in the past, so no need to go to the dr. again at this point. But your letter should have been pretty specific about what you need to do. My son had 3 remedials, 2 which didn't require a new appt. just copies of medical records. It was all spelled out in the letter--if yours wasn't, there should be a phone # of someone you can call with questions. I would advise you follow the directions ASAP as these things can take time to get waivered. Good luck!

bria122 - What you need to do is read the rest of the letter. It specifies exactly what is required:thumb:

I just saw that DODMERB was back up...YEAH! It says something new under USAFA, it used to say "qualified" now it says potential pilot Qualified. Can anyone tell me what that means?

I used https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil on firefox. I had to register again because it wasn't taking my sons pasword. I even printed out the page to show my son. I have no idea why itsn't not working for you all. It is a different page screen that comes up but same information as before with all the dates that he was qualified on and when letters were sent ect.... Just now it has added AROTC qualified and Potential Pilot Qualified for AFA. Good luck everyone!

That's great news. Not everyone get medically qualified for potential pilot, it is possible to be simply qualified and not be pilot qualified. Pilot qualification would be required if he were to compete for a pilot slot. Congratulations.

DS was told to retake his SATs in Jan. to get his verbal up and he did about 40 pionts so we have our fingers crossed but have heard nothing from anyone and still think getting in is a long shot. How does he compete for a pilot slot? Is that something that he would have checked off? So this is a good thing from what you are thinking? Does this mean that he is being looked at by the academy? I know I am such a mom with so many questions but as long as he doesn't get the TWE there is still hope..... Did anyone else get on to the site?

You might want to post the last question on the ROTC section of this board, there are people there that are much more versed in the AFROTC, look for a post from PIMA she has a wealth of information regarding AFROTC. Good luck to your son.

If the site was up, I think it was only temporary, as now the applicant log in screen states "Website Temporarily Unavailable! Please DO NOT log on."

Your link works!!! (It does say "Website Temporarily Available Please DO NOT log in.", so I haven't been able to log on). Look and feel appears totally different.

Out of curiousity, I tried clicking on the link we've been using for months, and I get the same error as before. Using your link, though, it works with IE browser. Weird.

Things are springing to life!!

The link I have in my favorites doesn't work at all.

I guess I'll try again later.

The website is not operational at this time:thumb:

I still can't access it either. I called them and they told me my status. Im still waiting for them to send over my information to West Point.
