Status Incomplete

Good Afternoon Forum,

I just have a quick question. I submitted everything for my USAFA application on Monday, February 14, and the deadline to have a complete application is today, February 15. My problem is that my status is still listed as incomplete, does this mean I out of the running? I'm not sure if they meant everything had to be submitted by the 15th or if everything had to be submitted and processed. Thanks
 
No, I only had to submit my writing sample to complete my application, and I submitted it at 2:00 AM Mountain time approximately, so it was well before the admissions office even began to work that day
 
Call your admissions counselor right now. I think they are still open.

I think you should be OK though, since they received everything before the deadline. It's up to them now to process it.
 
I'll be sure to do that, they are closed for today, but I'll give them a try tomorrow, hopefully I won't even have to. Thanks for the advice
 
I submitted my last two things (CFA and activities form) on saturday, and they still are shown as not yet processed and my file incomplete. The office must be really backed up at the moment. Don't worry too much though, you did your part, the processing is in their hands.

The counselors and the Regional Directors are BURIED right now! I know; I spoke with my RD today and he was "frazzled."

Don't worry about the status online...if you submitted everything on time, then you're fine.

Check each day and give them this week...if you find nothing after Friday morning...then start the calls, etc., to just "check up" and "query."

Hi there...I have a question...my son submitted everything by the Feb 15 deadline but his application status is showing incomplete due to DODMERB. He had to have ear wax removed from his ear after the first physical so they could be certain that he did not have a perforated eardrum, which he did not. He had the wax removed, went back to the DODMERB doc and had his ear re-checked. That was almost a month ago and evidently the paperwork still has not been entered into the system. Will the incomplete status due to DODMERB backup be an issue for consideration?
 
Thanks Flieger83, Yeah I just checked and my status just got changed to complete. vamom, I want to say your son should be okay for the application. If his papers were submitted before the deadline I would think they would update it soon like they did for me

It probably took 6 weeks from when my son had his remedial until the status changed on the app; 4 weeks from when we were told he met medical standards by DodMERB.
 
I've heard of Conditional Appointments being made before with the condition being when the medical qualification finally comes through. So maybe at a certain point they start looking at applications with only the dodmerb part missing along with other applications. A medical qualification is like a nomination, you need one, but it doesn't affect your WCS.
