Kings Point Rock Band

Just a heads up: as I don't know you from Adam, you are quickly becoming near the top of my list of "people to watch out for as possible trolls".

Very few posts and already started a thread about Quidditch and a thread about starting a Rock Band.

You have me doing this :scratch:

If you're a serious candidate then more power to you, but I'd like to see some more thoughtful content.

I actually received an appointment back in December over Christmas break :thumb:

Two, the quidditch club isn't a joke. I've heard that they may be starting one at USMMA. And what's wrong with playing music? :eek:

I'm extremely blessed to be given the chance to attend USMMA next year :smile:

P.S. Troll is a harsh word.....

That's why I said "possible".

fair enough response, and welcome to KP.

Nothing wrong with either of those activities you mention; however, to be the first two posts of a new member I think would raise many mod's eyebrows.

There is a rock band at CGA also, called BroLaw. These are 18-22 year olds after all!:eek::biggrin::thumb:

In kp2001's defense, I say that it might sound odd and "troll worthy" that an applicant is interested in the miscellaneous activities (rock band, quidditch) provided at King's Point...after all, it is a service academy. However, I don't blame you, a band would be FANTASTIC that close to arguably the biggest city in America. Coming from a vocalist in a band attending KP next year, it has definitely crossed my mind. Although we both have to remember that although we are 18-23 year olds, the courseload is going to be intense. Just an opinion! Good luck with the music and who knows, maybe we can collaborate :biggrin:

Plebe year especially doesn't lend itself to much free time.

Yes, the course load will be a challenge. What kind of music are you into?

Well in regards to music, I am one of those people that is truly flexible. I like anything and everything, spanning from Grateful Dead to Garth Brooks, Emarosa, Woe is Me, My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars, Kanye West, and so on. No big deal though. You can PM me about it later if you want. I doubt forum users want to hear music talk on a military based forum :thumb:

if you are a naturally good student then the course load is not hard. EL Bombero Jr. DO NOT and i say DO NOT get ahead of your self. you have not even been throug indock. while it is great to think of ideas of what you will want to do you never actually know what it will be like, your schedule and if you actually make through indock;

Believe me, I realized that I won't have much free time next year. Also, not having a drum set there may be a problem :eek:

You might not get a set of drums, but I'm sure you'll get at least one when you're assigned to band company...:smile:
