Got Some Good News Today!

Received a call from the Captain who is handling my Marine NROTC application. He said, "So I heard you have been looking into DEP and Enlisting?" I explained to him how I was getting worried that I haven't heard back from the Naval Academy or NROTC and that I wanted to have a back up plan. He then said, "What if I told you that you don't need that back up plan?" And the rest is history! The whole phone call seems like a blur now but I was very excited. I rushed home to tell my folks! Captain said that I will find out what College it is for next week. My top choice was San Diego State followed by Arizona State and University of Arizona. I'm extremely excited and so thankful to have a solid idea of what direction my life is taking in the coming months!

Wow! Congratulations! I wish my son would hear something from his recruiter! It seems like we've been waiting F O R E V E R!
