Don't be too eager to send in your application. My advice would be to do what you can to strengthen your record as much as possible. This means taking the SATs again. Even if your scores were good enough to gain admission now, a higher SAT may put you in play or a merit-based scholarship. Why not try it?

In terms of your chances, you will never know for sure until after you apply. You should also cast your net as broad as you can, which means apply to VMI, Citadel, etc. and for all scholarships available, including AROTC, AFROTC, NROTC, etc.

Good luck!

Not sure if it is too late to apply for next fall or not. However, your stats and my DS stats are VERY similar. My DS was accepted to the Norwich Corps of Cadets and he was offered an academic scholarship. So do with that info what you want.

I'm applying for 2012 sorry for not writing that in the first messege

Application to Norwich

I think you have an excellent chance of being accepted to Norwich and The Corps of Cadets. Hold off on your application until September though. If you are planning to apply for an ROTC Scholarship...you should start that process now!
