Hello Everyone,

I am a candidate for USNA class of 2015. I am STILL anxiously waiting, like I know many of you are, for any news to come from the Academy (i.e. BFE:angel: or TWE:frown:).

Have any of you from the Southern California area received any news?

THANKS!

I'm from Orange County and am still waiting to hear something. I am triple qualified with two nominations. What area are you from?

Ha ha. Love your username. I can relate to that.

I live in LA county.

Good luck!

Yesterday I went to the post office to check my mail, and there was a yellow pick-up slip in the box. It said it was for a large envelope. I got excited. As I got closer to the door to pick up the envelope, I found it harder to breathe. In part because of the anxiety and partially due to the fact that I'm sick and my throat is swollen. I gave the slip to the woman at the window, hoped she would return with a large manila envelope, AND......it was a package for my dad.

Haha so still waiting here in CA-45. The waiting may very well kill me. :yllol:
Good luck to all of you!

I'm in District 26, San Bernadino County. That will be me this time next year !!

Hi all we are from Hawthorne and our DS Daniel recieved a Principle Nomination from District 35, and is also triple'd qualified, 2 weeks ago he recieved a medium envelope from Naval Academy it was not a acceptence to USNA but a acceptence to NAPS, after much thought he decided to attend NAPS and he sent out his acceptence to NAPS, then the next day after he sent it in to NAPS we recieve a call from a LT. from USNA that they wanted his latest school transcripts because if all is still well they want to bypass NAPS and send him directly to USNA, talk about an emotional rollercoaster, so El Segundo High School faxed in his transcripts right away. We were told that his file would go to the admissions board this week and we would get a response this week, (talk about having your stomach turn again) so again we are waiting. just when he thought his days of stalking the Mail person was over, its on again. After these emotional highs and lows we pray that he gets his BFE. Good luck to you all, sounds like the SouthBay has a few good candidates.

dausna - that's great! If you are still in the NAPS pool after the re-evaluation, don't let it get you down. You will have another year to do well on academics and get a pretty good pay check in the bargain. You might also consider that a NAPster is much valued among Plebes because they already 'know the ropes'. Good luck!

my dad just arrived at school with a TWE...LA County

Sorry to hear that... I'm sure everything will work out in the end for you! Best of luck for all of your endeavors.

Still waiting here - Central Madera, District 19
