Was wondering if anyone went into NASS being able to do 75 push ups, but when the CFA came around (at end of week??) were any of you too sore to actually do max push ups because of doing so many that week?

At NASS last year we took the CFA on Sunday, you have PEP in the morning then morning services (or nap time), then lunch and the CFA. Plenty of time for recovery.

Yeah, the CFA is early enough in the week that you're not too tired. The PRT the next day isn't too bad either.

Yea, but I'd say if you're athletic enough, you'd probably be under worked during plebe summer. Don't get me wrong, everything was challenging (Especially Sea Trials!:thumb:) but if you're in good shape, the CFA and PFT will breeze right by you.
For the CFA, a lot of people will max the pushups, pullups and situps, but then be too tired for the run. That's how it was for me, so my suggestion is to go through that entire training evolution at least once a week every week before NASS. It could only help your file.
Don't over train and stay healthy. Good luck!
