For the summer seminars, am I allowed to take a camera and would I get opportunities to take pictures? If allowed, when are not the best times to take a camera along.

Sure. I wish I would've taken a camera last year. I wouldn't recommend taking a camera to PEP in the morning. Or mock sea trials. You'll know your schedule enough when you get there to know when you should and should not have a camera.

I went to NASS last year and I took my camera with me, but first of all, NASS was and AWESOME experience. Congratulations for getting in. Anyways, I was allowed to have it with me most of the time, even during PT in the morning (I had to run with it in my hand though). Come to think of it, I do not think there was a time when my squad leader told me to keep it in my room at Bancroft, but I always checked with them first if I took it anywhere. Of course, I would not recommend having it with you during the mini version of "Sea Trials" and Mock Indoc night. If you are up to hauling it around, then go for it! Overall, it was great having it with me as I was able to document a very special experience. Good luck!!
