Now that the letters are out, it will be interesting to know how many applied for AIM and anything else Luigi and/or Objee thinks relevant (e.g. aggregate profile of those chosen). Also, is there a wait list made up of those who weren't chosen?

DS's application went into the lottery pool and his wasn't chosen, but he received a very encouraging letter. He'll be doing the candidate for a day visit this coming Fall.

DS was also not selected in last years AIM lottery. He did receive his appointment last month, so AIM is not essential. He did attend the STEP day in Nov. Good luck. :thumb:

I haven't seen any profile or statistics other than the number of AIM appointments (522).

In the past, some additional slots have become available when/if an appointed AIMster declines to attend. Rare, but I've heard that it happens.

CW got his letter, let out a scream and jumped for joy. He'll be there in July. Never seen him so proud.
