Yes.oh so they dont say "up down up down" by their own speed? Its based on your chin going above the bar and your arm extending completely?
I wish we were allowed to use music devices for the run :/
when you run the mile, are you allowed to carry your own timer? for each event, is the admin allowed to tell me how much time i have remaining (ex: push ups)

yepp... it would pump me up to run and help keep track of time too..
Well you COULD sing...
But as a runner once told me, "1 mile is basically a sprint". To achieve your best, you'll probably reach near your max Cardio Frequency during a few moments... during which you should not be able to talk.
Yes, you can have your own watch. For most stuff in the Army (like the APFT) the timer usually says start and counts off 30 second intervals, so 1:30, 1:00, :30 left.
Yeah, 1 mile isn't really long enough to listen to music. You'll want to be concentrating on going fast not keeping pace (unless you regularly the 1600 in track or something).
Some of my "pump" music tracks are roughly 4-6 minutes so it gives me a good idea of how far I am or how fast I need to run.
On a side note, how will we know how far we have ran? are there markers located near the track? Its one thing running around a track 3 times knowing that the last lap would be the end of the mile-- but if i dont know how much further I have to run, i might lose my pace and freak out...
thank you!
