Just wanted to say to the cadets leaving for summer field training, I feel pity for you. Not because you are off to training, but due to this heat it is going to be more painful.

100 degrees in the field wearing ABUs is not going to be fun. Usually it is the late July/August ones that have the unbearable temps, but it looks like this yr even the 1st ones in will be feeling the pain too.

Very true, but you know the adage at least it is a dry heat.

ACUs? And yeah, the weather has been horrific lately from how hot it is :/

DS is at Maxwell now. Like being on the ramp in Qatar - so hot you need gloves to touch the airplane. What does not kill them, makes them stronger. They've got to get their "And there I was..." war stories from somewhere. Definitely harder than when I was a cadet.

Thanks for link Nick. My DS is at max 2 now. I didn't get any phone calls so I guess all is good. That is something I didn't think I would have to worry about. Glad it seems everyone is ok.

Goes back to the saying, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!
