Picture from the Waterfront

Thanks Julieannreed! This is going to be the best Where's Waldo game ever! Logged onto the big computer, took out contacts and put on reading glasses, picture on full screen. There, nope, need a magnifying glass, okay,,,,,,maybe, there. Honey, dd,ds, is that him? Maybe, way back there half a face? Stop laughing at me!

thats how it went. Maybe a sighting. It's enough :thumb:

Wait until the pics come with all of them lined up looking exactly the same with there covers on. Good luck and have fun! HAving a DD is a little easier but it was still difficult at times.

Yes, having a DD helps a lot. But still, it wasn't easy.

Good luck to the parents of all of the new Candidates! Welcome to the family. Strap in and prepare for the roller-coaster ride. :thumb:

Don't panic if you can't find a picture for awhile

There were many Indoc pics posted last year before I found a single one of my DS. I went several days through what seemed like hundreds or so pictures and the first one I saw of him he had a white band on his arm. What does that mean? Is he in trouble or hurt? Found out later it meant a medical condition. He got poison ivy! Keep looking through the pics. It IS like "Where's Waldo".

Lynpar, we went through all the same conversations! My favorite was when DS' grandmother was showing (because she printed Waldo's picture) everyone the wrong Plebe! I felt bad telling her and to this day I'm not so sure she was convinced! Oh well! Wishing you and your DS all the best. Love reading your posts!!

Waterfront pictures from Day 2 Indoc

I was lucky and found multiple pictures of my son in the waterfront survival training today. The first half of the pictures are 3rd company (my son's platoon) and I believe the 2nd half of the pictures are of 1st company (one of my son's teammates). Good luck and it was exciting seeing what else is going on besides the little glimpse we were able to see on Thursday I-day.

Deepsea -- you are my new hero -- you got a great pic of DS and . . . HE IS SMILING :thumb:

Nevermind - got it. Thank you SO much for taking this pics and posting them. It brought such a smile to my face to see a pic of my DS with a huge smile on his face.....ahhhh. I'm so thankful for everyone who is responsible for trying to give us parents a glimpse of what's going on. :)

Deepsea: Is there anyway you can "uncopyright" the pics you posted so we can save them on our computers? On previous posts I've been able to right click and save the pic, but this link won't allow that. Can you help? Found about 6 pics of my DS that are really good. Thanks!

You should be able too- no settings are set for copyright-

I love waterfront pictures - it is when you will see the smiles because it is where they get a chance to relax and have some fun!

Deepsea,
On the gallery, right side under "photo reuse" it says all rights reserved and has the "c" cirlced for copyright. That is the only difference I see from your posts vs others. If I give you the pic #'s would you mind emailing them to me?

:) We all use photos from the waterfront :) :) :) Especially the Natl. Parents program. We love you waterfront folks!!!
