2015 Indoc

Does anyone know why some of the plebe candidates are still wearing civilian clothes?

Some may have gone in later anid they were out of their size I am guessing or some paperwork snag. A funny thing about that, I was watching and "there, there, he was wearing that"! Only on slow mo freeze frame did I realize on closer inspection of the guy, not just the clothes, that the tall black man couldn't be my son, lol. Oops, lookin for much shorter white guy!
I am wondering about the one(s) laid out on the grass on the left side! Heat?

My brother went in for Indoc last year (now he's a 3/c) I asked him why he wore regular clothes last year; He said that if a candidate got there a little later they did not have time to run to their barracks and change into their new uniform so they went to lunch and changed later. Additionally the kids laying off to the side were pulled out by EMTs. They go around throughout Indoc looking for overheated kids or anyone that looks like they are going to pass out and pull them out. They are well trained and want to make sure everyone survives.
If you have any more questions you can send me a message and I can ask my brother. I also know quite a bit from stories and because I want to go there.

Ah, the memories! haha. I don't miss that day one bit.

Indoc 2015

I posted some pictures from Indoc yesterday in the pictures section USMMA. God bless good luck to all. :thumb:

Finally!! I found one pic of DS and the people around him had the number 4 on their hands, so I'm assuming DS is in 4th company. Anyone else?

If they have a number on their hand, they are in that company.

ahhh the memories....4 years ago my son was one of the only one's in his bright orange polo shirt during lunch muster. The reason......they ran out of cloths! ok so, they finally got in him the right gear, but, it was nice to look at photos of day one and pick him out easily. :yllol:

The number is their company and for Indoc they are divided within their company into Platoons so for instance you will have for 3rd Co. 201 and 302. When you get your five minute phone call next Sunday (not tomorrow) ask them which Platoon they are in because as pictures are posted it will often list the platoon number. You may be able to figure it out before next Sunday if you find them in a oicture but otherwise you can go back and look and even if you don't see your DS/DD you will see what they have been doing.

Blues, If they were standing in the hallway holding out the notebook, is that the company they're in? AT the point I saw my son in the pictures, he was in the hallway getting yelled at, holding the notebook in his right hand which was facing away from the camera. The people on the other side of the hallway's hands were facing the camera and they had 2s on their right hands. Does that mean he is in 2nd company? I hope your big brother is not a DI !!
