ok so on the Cadet scholarship application status website they have everything EXCEPT the interview (which i will schedule soon) the fitness test (taking at the end of this month) and the medical, which just says medical

when they refer to the medical are they talking about the DODmerb thing? or are they talking about a basic physical? im guessing the physical because i have to get selected for the scholarship before i take the DODmerb anyway right?

also what should i bring to the interview? lets of recommendation?

I also have a question about the application if someone could please answer it...When I start the application it says not to submit a paper copy if you have submitted an online one. I did the things I was asked to do through the army rotc application website and i completed the steps. At the end it says to print off the application. If i already completed the checklist online, do I print this out and mail it to cadet command or am I finished?

You are finished, print it to check for errors, and for you own records.
You can refine and update it until the first board.
You will get a letter if anything is missing.

Good Luck

I still get a message on Army scholarship page that says pdf form is being generated and you will be redirected...but nothing. I tried different browsers as well. Same.

Did you email CC?
If not, please do, she wants to know if there is a problem.

The DoDMERB is what they are referring to, but last year Cadet Command did something a little different and sent a good number of applicants thru DoDMERB prior to offering a scholarship. Be prepared, it could go either way this year. Oh, and just because you were sent for the DoDMERB didn't seem to indicate anything about your status as a scholarship winner so don't get too excited if they do send applicants early.

The interview will hopefully be at your #1 current choice school. Have you been in contact with the ROO/PMS at all? Contacting them prior to scheduling a formal interview may help you be more relaxed when that time comes. My DS had a folder with him containing multiple copies of his high school activities list(ie resume), high school transcripts, ACT scores, letters of recommendation from school and a few people in our community. The three officers who interview him used the activities list and transcripts, but not the other items, during the interview. Coming prepared was given positive comments verbally and was written in their notes.

You will find multiple threads with interview comments and tips throughout the forum. A good search should give you a ton of info and a lot of different perspectives on how formal or informal these interview can be.

Good luck.
