My title says it all, I just need to know when I should take it. Any info you have would be helpful.

As soon as you can, provided you think you can earn a decent score. I recommend that candidates do a practice test with a parent or someone else just to ensure their scores are in the ballpark. If they are, rest a couple of days (or whatever time you need) and take it for real.

There is no benefit in waiting unless you expect to do very poorly . . . and then you'd better be working out every day to improve.

As for what are good, decent, and poor scores . . . search CFA under history and you'll see lots of discussion. There are also averages from several years ago (not sure how valid they are today) posted in one of the stickies above.

Thanks

Thanks, that is what I though, but I was not sure. I'm a junior, and I hope to apply in the spring so I still have time to work out(which I really need to do).

As a junior, you can't submit until you're an official candidate, which will be in May/June of 2012. You have plenty of time to get in great shape!
