Does anyone know if the Coast Guard College Student Pre-commissioning Initiative will still be a viable option for 2013? My DS is a freshman at NMMI, self-prepping for USCGA and USMMA. Plan B or C might be to apply to the CSPI program for junior and senior year if his service academy dreams do not come true.
Best regards,

The USCG website has a lot of info about the program, but your best bet would probably be to talk to recruiter as they have been trained to discuss the program.
