Last night the midshipman gathered at the admiral's quarters to say thank you to Adm. Greene and his wife. They sang the alma mater and expressed their gratitude to them.

I am having difficulty opening the video of the farewell that was posted on Facebook and alum association website. Anybody else experiencing the same problem?

After "only" one year on the job.....me thinks this speaks pretty loudly.

Add me to the list saying; "Thank You" for a job well done.... and by most accounts unfinished.

Simply MUST get to the bottom of this. There is much more to this story than anyone knows at this point. I smell a rat!

Very moving video of the Midshipmen singing...after only 1 year at KP, this says a great deal about Adm Green's relationship with the Midshipmen.

Adm Green IS a Kings Pointer...he made a difference in a short period of time, and he WILL be missed.

Very moving what the midshipmen did for Adm. Greene. What Adm. Greene had to say shows what he is all about...He cares about Kings Point and knows where it all started for him. If there is anyone left in D.C. with some common sense they should watch this and ask themselves "are we doing the right move here?" I sure know how I'm going to vote!!!!!

Ditto Mikesdad... I have two there now and am usually quiet here...but I simply cannot sit this one out...I am a martime academy grad, am active in the industry, have close ties at various government levels, am the daughter of a Navy Radm, and belong to a legacy of maritime educators that spans several generations....Phil was the best we've had for some time and this is very sad and unsettling ...will watch it unfold and hope to play some cards of my own to ensure the continued success of this institution..Acta non Verba!

He most certainly IS a Kings Pointer. I recall living on the same deck in 1st Company my Plebe year during his First Class year.

I certainly hope thousands like yourself are "playing cards".....the silence of the VERY vocal regular alum on this board is noticed. Hopefully, they are spending their time Acta and not Verba!
